Brooklyn Nets Off To A Woeful Start

In 2019, Kevin Durant was on his third season with the Warriors looking to 3peat and be the first team to achieve that feat since the Shaq and Kobe Lakers.

After winning two straight titles with the Warriors and taking home the coveted finals MVP awards, beating and out dueling the King LeBron James, hitting game clinching shots on Lebron both years Kevin Durant felt like he wasn’t getting the respect he deserved.

He heard the critics still saying Lebron James was the best player in the league, despite Durant defeating James in the finals in back to back seasons. Draymond Green got into it with Durant on the floor, Green called him a b*tch, and the was the first day of the last season with Durant playing in the Bay Area.

Durant had something to prove so he left the Warriors and teamed up with James Harden and Kyrie Irving to prove he can win without Golden State.

The Harden, Kyrie, Durant experiment failed and not its KD, Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons. After a disappointing first round exit versus the Celtics, the Nets got Simmons in the lineup this year, Kyrie in the lineup full time this year the Nets are hoping to make a statement to the league.

They did just that, they made a statement. After 4 games the Nets are 1-3 and don’t really look that good as a team. Durant looks less than dominant scoring like he does, but his points aran’t translating to wins, Kyrie seems off with his long ball and Ben Simmons looks more afraid to shoot the ball than a small child is when asked to go into a haunted house.

Tonight they lost the game 129-125, behind Luka Doncic’s Triple Double 37 points 14 assists and 11 rebounds, as he out starred Kyrie Irving and Durant. It is very early so I’m not saying they cannot turn it around, all I am saying if Ben Simmons Don’t hurry up and follow that yellow brick road go get some heart to shoot the ball, the Nets can forget about even competing for a championship
