This past Saturday was one for the books. The weather was perfect just like California always is. Not too hot, not too cold. The afternoon had a plenty of festivities in store and with outside open again, what better way to step out than enjoying music, food, and a basketball tournament?

Saturday, April 17th, 2021. Krystal Lasia, the queen of A LOT of THINGS pulled off a family reunion event to launch a line of tasty sauces. The woman is the daughter of creativity. A mastermind and a go-getter. She opened her beautiful home to some of the most important people in her world.

As the day began, the team set-up streaming services for the event. The DJ came through with bangers and all we had to do was enjoy a day full of memories, laughter, and a dope 3v3 basketball game.

Let me tell you about the sauces. I don’t know where this woman gets her taste buds from but I was HIGHLY impressed. First of all, can we applaud a beautiful black woman with a vision? Secondly, can we clap for her bravery?! Seriously, it takes a lot of courage to step out in faith and create!

The day proceeded to guys walking out in jerseys with two teams: Gramps Garlic and Za Za Zing.

Both teams gave their absolute best playing a game filled up on chicken wings! The winning team left the court with a medal and lots of love from the other team and everyone attended.

I got the privilege to chat with the creator and woman of the whole movement, Krystal. I had to get inside her mind because it’s not everyday that you meet someone who makes a line of sauces. Matter of fact, it’s not everyday that you meet someone who makes sauces and they are amazing.
